Kaori: I’ve got an email from Michishige Sayumi chan the 8th leader of Morning Musume, in which she says she’s sent me a copy of their 50th single to be out on 4 July with really a determined message that she’ll do her best. I’m also excited with their memorable 50th and also a leading single of the brand new Morning Musume. Anyway I am filled with deep emotion that Sayu who used to do only Usa-chan Peace all the time has now grown up to a reliable leader who can send me a respectful message. I’ll do my best to support her too.

从#~∀~从＜重チャンがお手紙をくれました。新リーダーになっての想いが書かれていました。手紙に託して想いを伝えてくれた後輩リーダーは初めてです。世代は違っても通ずる想いがあることを伝えようとしてくれた事が嬉しかった。道重さゆみ率いるモーニング娘。の新たな革命・飛躍期待してます。

Yuko: I’ve got a letter from Shige-chan, in which she wrote how she feels as the new leader. She is the first succeeding leader who has told me about her determination by letter. I’m really glad to know that she tried to tell me she has the same spirit as I had even though we’re far apart in generation. I truly hope Michishige Sayumi would bring a new revolution and a new leap for Morning Musume.

sayu truly has the biggest heart in morning musume. i love her.

interviewer: And on the stage of Budokan, you mentioned about the strained relationship between you and Gaki-san that you guys hadn’t had any conversation for about a year in the past. How come did it happen?

Reina: Yeah, I mentioned it unintentionally. (laughing) There’s no special reason which I have to conceal here. How can I say? Our fans must have known that kind of atmosphere like some members were on good terms but the others were not. Actually me and Gaki-san had been on subtle terms for long time. As a matter of course we’d exchanged conversations on business, but we became not to exchange even greetings, I don’t know exactly when it started. Our manager used to get surprised to see us having no conversation even though we’re in a same room, asking “what’s wrong with you guys?” and we’d reply “we don’t know”.

interviewer: And it had lasted for a year?

Reina: Yes, it had. Honestly I felt really uncomfortable when I was told to act main roles with Gaki-san for a musical theatre named Reborn in the last Autumn. We also had 9th gen there, I used to have an another mental barrier against them at that time. That situation annoyed me a lot. When the rehearsal had got on a deadlock, I had to talk with Gaki-san over how to get it ready till the opening day. Since then we’ve become to be able to talk with naturally. I thought I must be grateful to have had Reborn with Gaki-san. So I just told Gaki-san what I felt at her graduation ceremony.

interviewer: I’ve heard the fans also celebrated the reconciliation of you and Gaki-san.

Reina: Yes, they did. And the producer of Reborn also said on the final day that the best thing Reborn had produced was our reconciliation. I was surprised to hear that like “that’s it? Is it our reconciliation? not the performance?” (laughing)

at first I was surprised at the sudden decided that she’ll graduate at the Budokan concert tomorrow.

モーニング娘。のLIVEを応援しに 中野サンプラザへ行ってきました
ガキさんが卒業する前の モーニング娘。を見たくて。。。
実は昨日、ヒルナンデスの生放送を見てこっそり泣いちゃったんだけど（笑）
光井ちゃんの卒業も決まり、10期も増えて新たなモーニング娘。
みんな頑張っていましたよ
ドリムス。にはないフレッシュがありました（笑）
次の公演があるのでみんなバタバタしていたのに9期メンバーの鞘師ちゃんが挨拶に来てくれました
すごく成長しててビックリしました
でね時間がない中、申し訳ないのはわかっているんだけど。。。
どうしてもガキさんにエールを送りたくて。。。
鞘師ちゃんにパシリしてもらってガキさんを呼んでもらっちゃったの

I went to Nakano Sun Plaza to see Morning Musume’s concert. I’d wanted to see their concert before the Gaki-san’s graduation. Honestly I couldn’t stop crying as I watched them performing live on “Hirunandesu” yesterday. Since the 10th gen joined, then the graduation of Mitsui-chan was announced, I think they were doing their best. And they also have “freshness” which has been lost from Dream Morning Musume, lol. Even though I visited the backstage in the busiest hours between concerts, Sayashi-chan, a member of the 9th gen, came to greet me. I was surprised to see how much she had grown up in such a brief period. I knew they must have no time, but I really wanted to encourage Gaki-san. So I asked Sayashi-chan to bring Gaki-san there. Gaki-san loves MM to the bone. I really wish she’d try her best until she’d graduate.
